Research project: Taxonomy and phylogeny of the freshwater Rhabdocoela (Platyhelminthes) from Cuba

Currently, I am working on the taxonomy and phylogeny of the freshwater Rhabdocoela from Cuba. I conduct the description of new taxa collected in Cuba, providing new data on the already known species. Additionally, I work on the reconstruction of phylogenetic relationships of the Dalytyphloplanida and species of Gyratrix (Kalyptorhynchia).

My favorite quote: “Mucha gente pequeña, en lugares pequeños, haciendo cosas pequeñas, pueden cambiar el mundo”—Eduardo Galeano.
“Many small people, in small places, doing small things, can change the world”
