Research project: Taxonomy and phylogeny of the microturbellarian Proseriata, with an emphasis on the fauna of Cuba
I work on identification of the proseriate fauna of Cuba for α-taxonomical, descriptive work. Subsequently, based on newly collected material, and specimens already present in the collections of Hasselt University, I am disentangling the evolutionary relationships of Proseriata using molecular and morphological data. Finally, I will provide information about the ecology of these animals.
