Research project: Education Innovation Project (IOP): Blended Learning.

Within my current education innovation project, I am developing an interactive digital learning environment that allows students to explore physical specimens in environmental and life sciences. With this platform, we aim to encourage active, inquiry-based learning and deepen the connection between theory and practice across scientific disciplines. By making our platform publicly accessible, we promote collaboration and exchange knowledge with national and international partners.

As a taxonomist and evolutionary biologist, I want to understand the structure of biological diversity and the evolutionary and ecological processes by which it arises, persists, and is lost. Towards this aim, I am convinced that holistic approaches are essential. By integrating morphology, taxonomy, ecology, and genomics, I intend to develop and apply innovative methods for morphological quantification, species delineation, and population genomics. I also seek to translate my expertise and knowledge into education, capacity building, and nature conservation.

My favorite quote: “I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.” – Albert Einstein, 1952
