Research project: Evidence-based species conservation: the case of the European Nightjar.

Currently, I am studying the ecology of Nightjars in the Swiss Alps. This project is a continuation of the study I performed on the spatial use and habitat selection of Nightjars in the province of Limburg (Belgium). The aim of our study is to assess the causes of population decline by studying the whereabouts of Nightjars during the breeding and non-breeding season. Individuals are tracked using modern technologies.
